David Cameron to write to Saudi government over alcohol case
Prime Minister David Cameron will write to the Saudi Arabian government about a UK pensioner imprisoned for possessing alcohol, Downing Street has said.

- India – (Prohibited in the states of Gujarat, Manipur,[2] Nagaland,[3] Mizoram(legalised recently,but one need permit card to buy alcohol) and the union territory of Lakshadweep. As for the state of Kerala, one is allowed only beer and wine. Liquor is still available through government liquor shops and within bars.[4])
